Ph.D. Position : Deep Learning to Understand the User Behavior for Marketing
HMI Lab is looking for a dedicated Ph.D. student under the supervision of Dr. Jainendra Shukla (IIIT-Delhi, India) and Dr. Abhinav Dhall (Monash University, Australia).
To Understand the user behavior for marketing by obtaining information on the underlying cognitive processes and emotions that influence user behavior, this research will aim to develop novel artificial intelligence and machine learning methods using facial coding and physiological signals including heart-rate variability (HRV), galvanic skin response (GSR), electroencephalography (EEG) for understanding the user behavior and to apply these learnings to improve the product.
M.E./M.Tech in computer science and engineering or related fields;
Knowledge of C++/Python/Matlab programming languages and Linux/Windows development tools;
Experience in computer vision, machine learning, signal processing;
Ability to communicate proficiently in English (written and spoken);
Experience in emotion recognition research (Desirable);
Research Assistant: Physiological Signal Processing (EEG)/ Machine Learning
We are hiring for a Research Assistant position at Human-Machine Interaction. Potential candidates would have interest and background in Physiological Signal Processing (EEG) and Machine Learning/Deep Learning.
